The government has promoted 127 joint secretaries of administration to the post of additional secretaries.
Ministry of Public Administration has issued promotion orders on Monday (April 22). 127 officers were promoted to the post of Additional Secretary as Officers on Special Duty (OSD).There are 212 permanent posts of Additional Secretary in the administration. But with the promoted officials this year, the number of additional secretaries in the administration stood at 415.
The order mentions that the officers who have been promoted to the post of Additional Secretary should send the joining letter to the Ministry of Public Administration mentioning the mobile number and email address.
Last year on September 26 last year 98 joint secretaries were promoted to the post of additional secretaries by the Ministry of Public Administration.
