Technical education board chairman’s wife remanded for two days

Chairman of Bangladesh Technical Education Board arrested for involvement in certificate forgery. Ali Akbar Khan’s wife Sehela Parveen’s two-day remand application has been granted by the court.

On Sunday (April 21), the investigating officer of the case, Lalbagh Intelligence Department Inspector Md. Amirul Islam produced him in court and applied for a five-day remand. Lawyers for the accused applied for bail seeking cancellation of remand.After the hearing of both parties, the court of Dhaka Additional Chief Metropolitan Magistrate Tofazzal Hossain ordered the remand of the accused for two days.It is known that AKM Shamsuzzaman, system analyst engineer of Technical Education Board, was arrested on the same charge on April 1. Sehela Parveen’s name came up in Shamsuzzaman’s interrogation. Dhaka Metropolitan Detective (DB) Police arrested Sehela Parveen last Saturday (April 20).
