The party’s Friday (April 26) peace and development rally in Dhaka Metropolitan South in front of the Awami League’s central office on Bangabandhu Avenue in the capital has been postponed. Dhaka Metropolitan South Awami League Office Secretary Riaz Uddin Riaz informed this information on Monday (April 22) evening.
He said that the program of the rally was given at 3 pm on Friday, but it was postponed for the time being due to the lack of permission from the police. The date of the peace rally will be announced later.Earlier on Sunday (April 21) the rally program was announced in a press release signed by Riaz Uddin Riaz. Awami League General Secretary Obaidul Quader was supposed to speak in it.
